⭐ **FIVE STARS — THE BEST PICKLEBALL TRIP YOU WILL EVER TAKE!** ⭐ **My THIRD Trip With Pickleball Cabo… and Somehow It Just Keeps Getting Better!** This was my *third* Pickleball Cabo adventure—and without question, the best one yet. Every trip has been incredible, but Chip manages to raise the bar each and every time. If you’re reading this review and are even *thinking* about booking… **stop thinking and do it. You will not regret it.** From the moment you sign up, the level of personalization is unmatched. Chip is genuinely one of the kindest, most attentive hosts you will ever meet. He takes care of every detail from start to finish, and his warmth sets the tone for the entire week. And then there’s his AMAZING wife, Quay—she is pure sunshine and makes everyone feel immediately welcomed. **Introverts, listen up…** When I attended my very first trip in May of 2024, I knew no one. As an introvert, I worried about a week-long group trip. But from the very first happy hour and dinner, I was brought right into the fold by Chip and Quay—and by the group itself. If you’re hesitant because of the social aspect, don’t be. You will be included, embraced, and treated like part of the Pickleball Cabo family from day one. This third trip started the same way: a fun, relaxed happy hour and a delicious dinner where everyone gets to meet, mingle, and settle in. The restaurants Chip chooses are phenomenal—I would go back to every one of them in a heartbeat. **Pickleball Paradise** Our mornings began at the beautiful Palmas Pickleball Resort & Academy with breakfast (smoothies for me!) and then skills/drills starting at 8 a.m. The Pros—Pete, Tony, and Willie—were absolutely top-notch. We drilled, played, drilled some more, and had an absolute blast doing it. Sessions typically ran from 8 am–11 am, leaving **plenty** of time afterward for the pool, the Sea of Cortez, reading, or relaxing. Lunches were delicious—one of my favorites this trip was a chicken salad with so many toppings I’m still dreaming about it. Then it was back to the courts in the afternoon where we played music, laughed, competed, and reinforced everything we learned in the morning. The energy was fun, light, and full of supportive players just enjoying this amazing sport. **Afternoons & Evenings: Food, Fun, and Community** Every evening, we cleaned up and headed to yet another fantastic dinner. Truly—**the dinners were beyond amazing**. Some of the best meals I’ve had in Cabo. Our day off on Thursday was an absolute highlight: two waterfalls and a beautiful swimming hole. It was refreshing, scenic, and memorable—a perfect midweek adventure. I was tired this trip and catching up on sleep where I had planned on doing game nights, but I was literally so exhausted from my days that sleep was a welcomed bonus on this trip! **The People Make the Trip** One of my favorite parts of Pickleball Cabo is the people. On this trip, I reunited with Dawn and Patrick—we’ve all now been on THREE trips and coordinate which ones we’re doing next because it’s that fun. Tony and Wendy, our local LB hosts, are incredible—full of personality, warmth, and humor. You can’t help but adore them. Whether you come solo, with a partner, or with a friend group, you will feel included and supported from the moment you arrive. Once again, I met wonderful people this trip - John and Shelly and Jeanne!! What incredible people and super fun to spend the week with! **If you’re still reading this… BOOK IT.** After my third trip, my soul feels full. The combination of great food, amazing people, gorgeous scenery, and pickleball is unbeatable. THERE WAS SOOOOOOO MUCH MORE TO THIS TRIP BUT WORK NEEDS MY ATTENTION. Pickleball Cabo is not just a trip—it’s an experience that stays with you long after you return home. **Book now. Truly. You’ll have the time of your life in Baja playing pickleball with wonderful people!!**

We had a fantastic time playing pickleball, resting by the pool, eating amazing food and loving the beach life. The pickleball courts were close to our hotel and we met so many friendly people. Our coaches were knowledgeable, fun and encouraging.

We had an overall great experience, everything from the outstanding coaching with Tony and Willy that we received to increase our pickleball knowledge to the excellent and terrific events that Tony and Wendy did over and above to make our week at Pickleball Palmas amazing. We would like to also thank the staff front reception area to the restaurant staff at the Pickleball Palmas Academy as they were very accommodating and the service was outstanding along with the meals being incredible. A personal thank you, to Chip Ball to making sure that all our needs were taken care of. We are looking forward to coming back in 2026 and bringing several of her friends from Canada.

We had a great trip. Transport from the airport to the hotel and back worked as advertised. The driver was waiting for us at the appropriate spot when we came out of the airport. The return trip was a bit confused at the hotel - a car came 5 minutes before our departure time and asked if we were the 10 o'clock group. That was our departure time and no one else was in the lobby. The driver then asked for a voucher which we did not have. At that point, a second vehicle arrived for us and the issue was sorted out. I am not sure if there was a miscommunication at the transport company or if the first driver was trying to hijack the fare. Four stars. The new pickleball centre is an excellent facility. Our instructors, Tony and Willy, were outstanding. Their systematic approach to teaching, both the basics elements of the game as well as strategies, court positioning and shot selection, was first class. All teaching points were prefaced with clear explaination, consistent and accurate demonstration, practice and critique. When not in lessons, we had as much access to the facitlity for free play as we could handle. Five+ stars! The accomodation was acceptable but "tired". The room was neat but poorly lighted and not overly clean. Room security was questionable as the doorframe was loose with gaps between both the wall and the frame and the frame and the door. It would have been easy to enter the room by forcing the door or 'jimmying" the lock with a credit card. The room safe was broken so another safe had been placed in the closet. The replacement safe was not secured and could easily be carried out of the room. Two and a half stars. Meals were quite good. Breakfast and lunch were normally at the pickleball centre where the food was very good albiet the menu choices were somewhat limited. Tony and Wendy hosted most of the dinners, with Willy and his wife joining us for dinner on the last night. All were excellent company. The food, at a variety of restaurants, was very good. In most cases, we were presented with a fixed menu, but at a couple of venues we were able to order from the menu. As anticipated, alcohol was not included. We were surprised, however, to discover on the last night (the first time anyone had decided to have dessert) that the desserts were added to the alcohol bill and not included with the dinner. There were also no arrangements made to cover the cost of our departure day breakfast at the Tito's restaurant (the assigned venue) and we had to pay for that meal out of pocket. Four stars. Free day activities were not pursued. We went to Mexico to play pickleball and did so on our "day off" as well. Overall, a very enjoyable trip.

The pickleball training and experience was excellent. The accommodations however were sub standard and not very clean. The AC in our room did not work so on the 3rd day they moved us to a poolside room for 2 nights then to an oceanside room for our final night these 2 rooms were much better in fit finish and cleanliness. The booking process with WeTravel was very misleading, indicating that we would be paying in Canadian Dollars and then I was subsequently charged an extra 2400.00 for the US exchange. This was taken care of by Pickleball Cabo eventually but I think you need to change the layout of your booking site to clearly indicate listed pricing is USD.
